Gisteren zijn we 14 uur onderweg geweest, van Maastricht naar Poitiers (Frankrijk), lekker op het gemak, de snelweg zo veel mogelijk vermijdend en genietend van het landschap en andere bijzondere dingen die we tegen kwamen onderweg. De reis is tenslotte onderdeel van de de vakantie en we hebben geen haast.
De reis verliep goed, mama en ik zijn inmiddels zo op elkaar ingespeeld dat alles vanzelf lijkt te gaan.
De nieuwe auto doet het ook goed, zo luxe in tegenstelling tot de Punto, we hebben airco, TomTom (die we overigens enkel ter ondersteunig hebben gebruikt want kaartlezen is gewoon leuker!) en de iPhone muziekjes kunnen gewoon over de installatie afgespeeld worden ;) Super Luxe, althans zo ervaren wij het. Over die auto gesproken, die is dus nieuw en dus zijn we super voorzichtig alleen die Franse Marokkaanse jongen in Reims had ons even gemist in zijn spiegel. Hij zette zijn auto in z´n acheruit en bleef ondanks onze (homo) toeter en geroep van omstanders achteruit rijden, BOEM, tegen mama´s GLOEDNIEUWE auto aan. Koekert! Gelukkig ging hij niet hard en was er geen schade. Nadat hij ons nog eens had ingewreven dat we ´deuxieme de la monde´ waren geworden hebben we hartelijke lachend onze reis vervolgd.
Meindert´s vakantie cd-tje was overigens ook een groot succes, we hebben lekker meegezongen, gelachen en oerend hard gereden. Thanx Manolo.
vanochtend zijn we om 9:30h vertrokken en eigenlijk in 1 stuk doorgereden, het regende het grootste deel van de reis en de zon heeft haar gezicht niet laten zien vandaag, dus lekker doorkarren en om 18h aankomen in Zarautz. Op het eerste gezicht een leuk klein stadje maar we zijn meteen op zoek gegaan naar de camping, er moest tenslotte nog een tent opgezet worden...
Dat was ook weer een klein avontuur want die tent hadden we pas 1 keer opgezet en toen ook maar voor de helft omdat er een kleine storm op komst was ;) Anyways, mama volgde braaf mijn instructies op en de tent an sich stond in een paar minuten, totdat de haringen erin moesten. We hadden in NL nieuwe haringen gekocht, van die dure aluminium dingen die dus NIET door harde grond willen boren en de hamer was ook een goedekope versie en dat hebben we geweten (zie foto). Uiteindelijk nieuwe haringen gekocht op de camping en de tent staat. pfiew! Wel hebben we besloten dat we de tent deze vakantie alleen nog maar afbreken, haha. In Spanje heb je ook goedkope hotels ;)
Gran Camping Zarautz is overigens een heel leuke camping, mooi gelegen op een berg en dus mooi uitzicht over de stad en de baai (bedankt voor de tip Paultje!).
Morgen gaan we eens op onderzoek uit in de stad en brengen we zeker een bezoekje aan het strand, mooi weer of niet!
